North Industrial Machine was founded in 1995 by Danny and Debbie
Johnson of Hartsville, SC. The company started with manual lathes
and milling machines performing Industrial job shop tasks . By the
summer of 1996 North Industrial Machine had designed and
constructed machines outside of the United States. Around March
2002, North Industrial Machine added CNC Machines to its
operation, including CAD CAM software to meet customer needs. In
2004, North Industrial Machine Doubled it's size by constructing a
fabrication department.
In 2005, Danny Johnson Sr. Purchased a Sheet Metal Works
Company. This added additional machinery including: Sheet Metal
Breaks, Rollers, Shears and Lock Formers. North Industrial
Machine's original operations, from 1995 until 2005, were directed
by Danny Johnson Jr, then shop manager. Due to a growing
customer base, in 2005 Danny Johnson Sr. took over the day to day
operations of North Industrial Machine with Danny Johnson Jr.
remaining on as Sales Superintendent and Engineering manager.
North Industrial Machine became a Limited Liability Company on
April 1st, 2007. Danny Johnson Sr. was named President of North
Industrial Machine, LLC and Danny Johnson Jr. was named Vice
President.
In November of 2007, North Industrial Machine, LLC opened a
branch in Zhuhai, China. This new joint venture was named Zhuhai
Beautiful Bridge Industrial Machine, LLC.
On January 1st, 2009 Danny and Debbie Johnson purchased
Precision Components and Services, located in Patrick, SC. After
purchase, the new acquisition was renamed Precision
Components & Services, LLC. The new company added additional
machinery to the already extensive North Industrial Machine line-up
including: CNC Lathes, CNC Machining Centers, Long & Short Bed
Lathes, a Grinding Department and Heat Treating.
Both companies remain family owned and operated. With
customer demand growing, North Industrial Machine will build a
project assembly shop in 2010.
